DENVER (KDVR) – Officers in Denver are looking for a suspect after a shooting claimed the life of one person early Saturday morning.
On Tuesday, the Denver coroner’s office identified the deceased as 22-year-old Melchor Castillo and the cause of death was a homicide by gunshot wound.
Denver police alerted the public of the shooting around 1 a.m. It happened at East 40th Avenue and Chambers Road.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
