LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect who seriously injured a Walgreens employee after shoplifting at the store.
Around 8:15 p.m. Saturday, a man allegedly shoplifted from Walgreens located at 10140 W. Colfax Ave. He left the store, got into a truck and police believe he intentionally ran over an employee standing right outside.
Walgreens released the following statement on the incident:
“Our thoughts are with our team member and their family. We are cooperating with law enforcement and defer to them for any additional information.”
