DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Friday evening in the area near the intersection of Interstate 25 and Speer Boulevard.
One person was taken to an area hospital and as of 7.38 a.m. on Saturday, DPD officials have verified that they are now in stable condition.
Initially, northbound lanes of I-25 were closed at Exit 212 A and B and all traffic was diverted to Speer. The impacted stretch of the interstate has since reopened.
A suspect has not been taken into custody at this point, nor has a description been released, but FOX31 will bring you those updates once they are released.
