DENVER (KDVR) — Denver Police Department stated in a release a report was received of shots fired in the 2200 block of North Colorado Boulevard around 2:28 p.m. A vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no injuries have been reported.

According to DPD, individuals on motorcycles were involved and left the scene. There was no pursuit of any suspects near the scene.

One person was detained in the area of 16000 East 49th Avenue after a later pursuit with the assistance of Air One.

The shooting was reported in the 2300 block of Steele Street, which is in the proximity of the Denver Zoo, City Park and City Park Golf Course.
