Update: The missing 6-year-old girl was “safely located,” the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Thursday, April 27.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story included incorrect photos of the girl’s sister. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said they were given photos of the incorrect person, which were then distributed to the media.

DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators now say a missing 6-year-old girl was last seen with her noncustodial older sister in Denver.

CBI said Friday she was last seen with her noncustodial sister.

Missing girl last seen on April 14

On Thursday, CBI first said the missing girl could be with her noncustodial grandmother, and said the Firestone Police Department was investigating.

Before that, the missing 6-year-old was last seen around 5:50 p.m. on April 14 in Northglenn.

Anyone who may spot the girl or her grandmother should call 911 or the Firestone Police Department at 303-833-0811.
