DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado’s governor and mental health advocacy groups are declaring May as Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental Health Colorado, the Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council, Behavioral Health Administration Commissioner Dr. Morgan Medlock, and Gov. Jared Polis made the proclamation Monday.
They focused on mental health care equity and improving access to services, especially in rural Colorado.
