DENVER (KDVR) — There are new details about the shooting that left one man dead in downtown Denver over the weekend.

The accused shooter is a security guard 9News hired through a contract with Pinkerton.

9News released a statement Tuesday saying it directed Pinkerton to have the security guards accompanying journalists “not be armed.”

The station put out a statement saying the reporters accompanied by the suspected shooter, Matthew Dolloff, were not aware he was armed.

On Tuesday evening, 9News released two videos of the moments before and after the fatal shooting. Both were taken by a 9News producer.

In a clip that lasts about one minute and 40 seconds, one can see an argument between Lee Keltner and another man. Near the end of the video, Keltner approaches the producer and says, “I’m going to f*** you up.” The video stops immediately before Dolloff allegedly shoots Keltner.

The second video shows the moments following the shooting, including the producer being apprehended by Denver sheriff’s deputies. He can be heard identifying himself as a member of the press.

That producer was later released from custody.

Also on Tuesday evening, a judge granted the Denver District Attorney’s Office an additional 72 hours to file charges against Dolloff.
