DENVER — A strong winter storm moved into the Denver metro area and the eastern Plains on Wednesday morning.

Most of the Front Range and Plains experienced blizzard conditions before the storm began winding down Wednesday night.

A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Thursday because of continued travel impacts.
