FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. — A body found in Fremont County in September 2016 has been identified as a murder victim from a decade ago.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said a hiker discovered the body and DNA samples have identified it as Remzi Nesfield.

Nesfield, who was 24 at the time of death, was last seen alive in March 2007. He lived in the Denver metro area and Phoenix area.
