ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — A crash involving three vehicles and injured at least two people in the Englewood business district caused traffic delays Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred on S. Broadway and E. Girard Avenue.

Denver police were attempting to stop a reported stolen vehicle on W. Hampden Avenue when the vehicle entered Englewood, according to Englewood police.

A man ran from the stolen vehicle after the crash and was chased by Denver police. The suspect threatened to harm himself with a knife. He was taken into custody after negotiations with Denver officers, EPD said in a press release.

Crews were cleaning up hazards at 3384 S. Broadway after a vehicle crash that injured at least two people, according to the Denver Fire Department.
