DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — After an investigation, the Douglas county School Board has determined that former Superintendent Dr. Thomas Tucker did not violate the district’s nondiscrimination/equal opportunity policy. 

Tucker had been under investigation for workplace discrimination. In a letter written to the former Superintendent and obtained by FOX31, Board of Education President, David Ray writes, “The investigator found that “though [complainant’s] and other’s perception of a gender influence in [respondent’s] conduct experienced is objectionable or unprofessional appear genuine and advanced in good faith, a violation of the DCSD’s Nondiscrimination and/Equal Opportunity policy for gender-based harassment is not established under the applicable standard of proof.”

Dr. Tucker resigned from his position as Superintendent of the state’s third largest school district during the investigation and has since accepted a position with the Kentucky Department of Education as the Chief Equity Officer.

Dr. Tucker’s attorney, Igor Raykin wrote in a statement to FOX31 today stating, “Dr. Tucker knew this would happen because there was zero evidence that he did anything wrong.”
