4-year-old boy among 3 killed in Denver apartment

DENVER (KDVR) — Police said three people, including a boy, were shot and killed Tuesday in a northeast Denver apartment building.

The Denver Police Department said the victims were a man, a woman and a young boy. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remained under investigation.

A woman who said she’s the boy’s mother told FOX31 he was 4 years old. Aquasia Parham also said her grandmother and brother were killed in the shooting. She said her “whole world is gone.”

“I can’t call my baby no more,” Parham said. “I can’t see my baby.” She is anxious to know who killed her family members.

“I just want whoever did this just to come forward, please, just to come forward,” she said. “He was only 4 years old.”

The entire community at the apartment complex, near East 60th Avenue and Dunkirk Street, is in disbelief.

“It’s absolutely terrible,” a resident said. “I feel for the family … that little boy.”
