DENVER (KDVR) — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Denver firefighter Eric Trujillo Wednesday morning at Fire Station 36. He faces charged of sexual exploitation of a child, a class three felony.

Arapahoe County investigators believe Trujillo uploaded videos to the internet showing children being sexually assaulted. They received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) which is run by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), and obtained a search warrant accordingly.

According to the arrest affidavit, investigators with CSPD traced the IP address of the uploaded videos to a Comcast customer at Denver Fire Station 36 on 4101 S. Federal Blvd.

The affidavit describes the two videos uploaded. One video shows a young girl between the ages of 3 and 5 having sexual acts committed on her, and the other includes a girl around 9 years old exposing herself.

Trujillo has been with the department for 10 years and has been placed on unpaid leave, pending the results of an internal investigation.
