DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) reports boating rescues have tripled this year, reaching 81 rescues with 2 close to drowning.
CPW reminds boaters to wear a life jacket and be cautious on the water.
Boating at Barr Lake is restricted to vessels with motors 10HP or less and Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) inspections are required prior to launch.
