AURORA, Colo. — An Aurora sex offender has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for trafficking two teenage girls for sex.

The Colorado Sentinel reports 32-year-old Raymond Fredericks was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to the felony charge in May.

The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office says Fredericks was arrested in May 2018 after he sexually assaulted the 14- and 15-year-old girls at his Aurora home.

Prosecutors say he was communicating with the two girls through social media for nearly a year before the assault.

Prosecutors dropped eight other charges including engaging in child prostitution and child sexual assault in exchange for his guilty plea.

Fredericks was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in 2010. He was previously sentenced to five years of probation.
