AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) – Aurora police confirmed Sunday five males ranging in age from 16 to 20 years old were shot overnight.

The shooting victims include a 16-year-old teenager, two 19-year-olds, an 18-year-old, and a 20-year-old. All are expected to survive their injuries.

Just after midnight, Aurora911 received a report of a shooting in the area of North Dayton Street and East Colfax Avenue. When officers arrived, they found two males who had been shot. Officers gave them first aid and applied a tourniquet to one of them.

“I heard maybe 15 rounds of gunshots and somebody screaming,” Abraham Eulaberry said.

The other three victims got themselves to a nearby hospital, according to officials.

According to the Aurora Police Department, responding officers saw a large crowd of people leaving the area where they found the two males who were shot. Officers believe the crowd was leaving a party being held in the basement of a business at 9709 E. Colfax Ave.

Police say they are investigating whether or not the party could be linked to the shootings.

Police do not yet have a suspect, and they are asking for the public’s help in finding the shooter.

The governor’s office is concerned with the recent uptick in violence among teenagers and young adults in Aurora.

“Governor Polis is beyond disturbed by the recent violence in Aurora, has been in touch with local leaders should state resources be needed and hopes the perpetrator or perpetrators in these recent incidents will be brought to justice. The administration is focused on addressing these important issues and working with local communities to do so which is why the Governor’s budget proposal includes funding to prevent crime and improve public safety including tackling youth violence,” Conor Cahill sent to FOX31.

Investigators are asking anyone who has information about this case to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

This is a developing story. Details will be reported as they are received.
