3 found dead in Aurora home
Aurora Police’s Public Information Officer Matthew Longshore said in a news conference late Saturday night that officers responded to a welfare check call at a house in the 1500 block of South Evanston Street around 5:15 p.m. They did not find anything suspicious, so they left the location.
At roughly 7 p.m., Longshore said, relatives were able to gain entry into the home and found two women and a man shot to death. There was no sign of forced entry.
Longshore said it is not believed the incident is a murder-suicide and at the time, did not know how many suspects may be involved.
