DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department says at least 100 vehicles were involved in a crash on Friday morning after the first snowfall of the season.
DPD said the crash happened on 6th Avenue near Kalamath Street around 6 a.m.
Vehicles that could not be driven or vehicles that were left on the highway after motorists were taken to the hospital were towed to Lot C at Empower Field, DPD said.
On Friday afternoon, DPD said if you were involved in the crash and your vehicle was towed from the scene and you still have not located it, call 720-913-2000 and press 2. You will need to have your license plate number ready.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said 6th Avenue reopened around 11:10 a.m. on Friday.
