DENVER (KDVR) — The holiday season kicks off this weekend across Colorado. From tree lighting ceremonies to Christmas shopping extravaganzas, there’s something for everyone.
There is one fast-moving, dry cold front that slides across the Front Range on Saturday. It will drop highs by 10 degrees. Otherwise, expect all days to be abnormally warm and dry with highs in the 60s.
Many Colorado ski resorts are open for the season. See the full list here. However, some have delayed openings.
Permits to cut down Christmas trees in the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests are now available.
