1 dead in Thornton motorcycle accident just after midnight

THORNTON, Colo. (KDVR) — Thornton police responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car early Saturday morning that has left one man dead.

At 1:32 a.m. Saturday, Thornton Police Department said they were investigating the crash that had happened in the eastbound lanes of 104th Avenue near where it intersects with Marion Street.

According to TPD, the motorcyclist involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene

Traffic was temporarily impacted by this crash, but that stretch of 104th Avenue has since been reopened.

The accident occurred in the vicinity of a Taco Bell, an Advanced Auto Parts store, and Thirsty’s Sports Pub.
