THORNTON, Colo. (KDVR) — A woman is dead and four others were transported to the hospital after a crash involving a truck and a car Sunday night.
Police arrested the driver of the truck under suspicion of driving under the influence.
Thornton Police Department said the incident happened around the intersection of 84th Avenue and Washington Street. A woman was killed in the crash and the four others involved were injured.
Three of those four individuals were children.
According to Thornton police, the children, who were in the car with the deceased, suffered minor injuries.
