LITTLETON, Colo. — Southwest Plaza Mall was evacuated Tuesday afternoon because of a bomb threat, but after an investigation, nothing was found, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.
SW Plaza Mall has been cleared & released back to mall management. No devices found. Investigation concerning threats continues in #Jeffco.

The suspicious package was found about 6 p.m., forcing the evacuation. The bomb squad was called and people were being directed away from parking lot.
After crews swept the area, the mall was reopened.
