WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Wheat Ridge Police are looking for a woman who they said reportedly contributed to the drowning death of her grandson.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Onesia Ann Najera, age 50, on Tuesday in connection with two counts of child abuse resulting in death, according to WheatRidge Sgt. Mark Moellenberg.

She is described as a Hispanic female, 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighing 124 pounds with brown hair.

Police reported that the child, Angel Goodwin, died in May this year.

Officers have tried to locate Najera without success.  Sgt. Moellenberg reported her bond has been set at $200,000.
