DENVER — A large portion of downtown Denver will be served up for A Taste of Colorado this year.

The 32nd annual event will be off limits for planes, trains and automobiles.  Last year, the tasty attraction brought in more than 500,000 hungry visitors to Civic Center Park for the four-day event.

Fifty restaurants, 275 marketplace vendors and seven stages are sure to bring in record crowds in this year.

Colfax Avenue to the north, 13th Avenue to the south, Broadway to the east and Bannock Street to the west are the show’s boundaries this year.

Getting there is usually a challenge, but throw in Taylor Swift concerts at the Pepsi Center, the Sniagrab ski sale at Sports Authority at 10th Avenue and Broadway, and normal downtown weekend traffic and you could find yourself negotiating a navigating nightmare.

Road closures for A Taste of Colorado on Labor Day weekend. All streets will reopen by 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Light rail, the 16th Street Mall shuttle, bicycle or B-cycle are some alternatives to driving around looking for a coveted place to park.

Of course, you could always taste Colorado on your patio, enjoying a cool libation of your choice and listening to Frank Sinatra.  Just saying.
