DENVER — New labeling guidelines for marijuana edibles go into effect Sunday.

That means stores were rushing to sell what’s left of what doesn’t meet the new rules.

Dispensaries across the area are offering discounts of 40, 50 even up to 70 percent off.

The sales apply to edibles that do not have resealable, child-proof packaging or contain doses that are above the new regulations.

If they don’t sell before Sunday, many of those products will have to be safely disposed.
