DENVER — King Soopers announced a recall of ready to eat meals made by Reser’s Fine Foods because of possible listeria contamination.
The recall includes King Soopers old fashion potato salad, elbow macaroni salad and mustard potato salad. Several other items sold under the Reser’s brand name are also included in the recall.

The recalled refrigerated products were sold nationwide and in Canada.
The full list of foods recalled be Reser’s can be found at fda.gov. They all have a plant identifier code of “20” after the use-by date.
The Oregonian reported that Reser’s recall includes 109,000 cases of refigerated prepared salads.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the listeria was detected through microbiological testing by Canadian health authorities. U.S. officials traced the contamination to a Kansas plant.
