DENVER — Flu activity in Colorado showed possible signs of leveling off over the weekend.

For the week ending Jan. 11, the Colorado Flu Report said that flu activity remained high, however, it showed signs of leveling off.

The document also stated that no flu-related deaths for children had been reported during the week ending Jan. 11.

Additionally, no more flu-related outbreaks occurred — a total of five outbreaks had already been reported this season.

The flu season has already been considered by health experts as worse than last year, and health providers have told patients that the flu vaccine is in high demand.
