DENVER — More than 50 million Americans suffer some sort of allergy, and due to our kind of mild winter, trees and flowers are at work early—putting out pollen and sufferers in Colorado are already having trouble.
“This season we’re seeing many people sneezing, with itchy eyes and sore throats,” said Dr. Alan Lipkin. “The only way to combat these early waves of pollen over metro Denver, is to take over-the-counter medicines or let a physician prescribe something stronger.”
Trees and flowers now, then pine trees, then grass and hay and so it goes with allergies. They start now and will be with us until the first freeze. One thing to remember, you are not alone!
