COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Commerce City Police responded to reports of excess water flowing from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal onto a nearby roadway.
According to the Traffic Division of the Commerce City Police Department, recent storms caused the Rocky Mountain Arsenal to overflow into the 13800 block of E. 96th Avenue.
Officers closed E. 96th Avenue between Potomac and Peoria Streets. They also shut down Peoria Street between E. 96th and E. 104th Avenues.
Police said they would re-evaluate the road conditions Wednesday morning.
