WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Eastbound Interstate 70 at Kipling Street reopened Wednesday morning after two lanes were closed for emergency pothole work.

Crews closed the two right lanes of the interstate Tuesday afternoon, causing major backlogs during the evening commute.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reopened the lanes about 4:30 a.m.
