DENVER — Pokemon Go players can see a lot more than the usual wildlife at the Denver Zoo — and get discounted tickets this weekend.
Guests will get $5 off the price of admission Friday through Sunday, from 1 p.m. to close, if they show the app on their phone. It’s limited to $5 off per device, according to zoo officials.
The zoo is already home to several Poke Stops and a training gym, but it will also host lures from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Lures attract Pokemon for 30 minutes and multiple players can take advantage of a lure at the same time, according to Mashable.
Lures can only be activated a Poke Stops. When the lure is active the Poke Stop will show up with pink flowers around it.
Zoo officials warned players not to go wild trying to “catch ’em all.”
“Denver Zoo enforces safe play,” officials said on Facebook. “Visitors are asked to be responsible and respectful of other guests and keep their eyes up while walking.”
