DENVER – The Denver Police Department said Tuesday it is looking for a man who stole someone’s purse and credit card from their car last month.

Police said that on Aug. 22, the man pulled into Extra Space Storage at 3270 Blake St., and allegedly went into a car and took a purse.

The suspect later went to a Home Depot in Greenwood Village and bought a tool set with the victim’s credit card.

Police said the passenger who was with the suspect said she only knows the man as “Larry.” No other information was released.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7807.
