DENVER — A man was shot and killed late Wednesday night, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. in an alley near East 13th Avenue and Yosemite Street not too far from the Community College of Aurora.
A man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police did not have any information about a suspect and no arrests have been made.
The name and age of the man who died were not released. What led to the shooting is under investigation.
