DENVER — Denver police continued to look for multiple suspects Monday in several hit-and-run cases that sent three people to the hospital and killed a man in a Denver alleyway over the weekend.

16th Avenue and Ogden Street

The first case happened Sunday at the intersection of East 16th Avenue and Ogden Street. It sent a cyclist to the hospital with a broken leg and several other injuries. The Denver Police Department issued a Medina alert for a suspect vehicle in the hit-and-run crash.

Police said they were searching for a red Chevrolet Sonic with a license plate 795-OMJ. Investigators also said the vehicle has damage to its hood and windshield. Sources told FOX31 Denver the car is registered to a home in Colorado Springs.

Broadway near Park Avenue West alley

Police announced Monday they were looking into a possible fatal hit-and-run where a body was found in an alleyway. It appeared the person was run over.

It happened sometime over the weekend near Broadway and Park Avenue West in a gated alleyway. Officers had to jump over a gate to investigate the death.

Broadway and 11th Avenue

On Saturday morning, two men were sent to the hospital after they were hit by a car driving down Broadway near 11th Avenue.

Police arrested Sean Harris after looking into a separate criminal investigation. He told police a passenger told him to keep going. The two men who were hit are expected to survive.
