AURORA, Colo. — It was a big day for the 2016 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway in Aurora.

This day was furniture day.

“Decorating the St. Jude Dream Home is so much fun,” said Barbara Chandler, Furniture Row designer and accent chair buyer.

Three truckloads of fine furnishings from Furniture Row are the icing on the cake of the 3,400-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom dream home in the Tollgate neighborhood in east Aurora.

It’s a daunting designing task and Chandler is responsible.

“Well you can say that, but I don’t want to be like, ‘I’m responsible,’” she said.

There is method to Chandler’s madness when decorating the St. Jude Dream Home. But who’s kidding who, she’s doing a bang-up job.

Chandler’s favorite room?

“I love the master bathroom. It’s fantastic and I love how high the ceilings are,” she said.

The 2016 St. Jude Dream Home does not come furnished, but you can win a $10,000 shopping spree at Furniture Row.  All you have to do is come by the St. Jude Dream Home in Aurora and register.
