BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Emergency crews in Boulder County responded to Boulder Creek on Tuesday night on a report of a body floating downstream.

A resident called 911 to report a body in the creek near Valmont Road and 61st Street. Boulder County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Heidi Prentup confirmed crews found a person dead in the creek.

The body was recovered late Tuesday night and officials indicated the body might have been in the water for several weeks.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office will work to identify the body and whether it’s that of missing tuber Chris Danko, who disappeared a few weeks ago.
