LONE TREE, Colo. — A credit card skimmer and camera were found on an ATM inside Park Meadows Mall on Thursday and two more skimmers were found on ATMs inside the mall Tuesday, authorities said.
It’s unclear how long the skimmers were on the ATMs or how many people might be affected.
One of the skimmers was located near the dining area Thursday. It had a camera on it to record people entering their PINs.
The other two ATMs with skimmers only had the card readers.
Lone Tree police say they are looking for a man in a surveillance photo who was near one of the ATMs with a skimmer on Tuesday.
“We don’t know if he was involved in placing the fake card readers being put on the devices, but we do want to talk with him,” said Kristen Knoll.
The man was wearing jeans, a white T-shirt and glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Lone Tree Police Department at 303-339-8150 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
Police advise anyone who might have used an ATM at the mall to monitor their bank account.
