AURORA, Colo. — Two skimmer devices have been at two locations in the past week, the Aurora Police Department said.

The first skimmer was found in an ATM inside a Corner Store at 15303 E. Quincy Ave. on Saturday. It appears it was placed there sometime between 9 a.m. on May 5 and 3:44 p.m. on May 6.

A second skimmer device was found in a gas pump at the 7-Eleven store at at 3200 N. Chambers Road.

Skimmers are devices that read credit card information and are difficult to see. They are often fastened in close proximity to or over the top of an ATM’s card reader.

Anyone who finds suspicious activity on an ATM or gas pump should file a report or call police at 303-739-6176.
