DENVER (KDVR) — COVID-19 continues to rise in Colorado this week, including the incidence rates. Last week, the incidence rates were similar to the week before. This week, the incidence rates are rising again.
The state’s positivity rate is also rising, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
As of Monday, the state’s 7-day positivity rate is 7.45%, which is up from 6.84%. The highest positivity rate in the state over the past seven days is Delta County with 18.4% positivity.
From Oct. 4 to Oct. 11, 42 counties saw an increase in COVID-19 positivity, 19 saw a decline in COVID-19 positivity, and three counties administered fewer than 10 tests in the past week.
According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the incidence rates have risen over the last seven days.
