COVID-19 rates dropped in Colorado over the last week

DENVER (KDVR) — The COVID-19 positivity and incidence rates are down slightly over the last week in Colorado.

As of Monday, the state’s 7-day positivity rate is 6.86%, which is down from 7.45%. The highest positivity rate in the state over the past seven days is Kiowa County with 42.5% positivity.

From Oct. 11 to Oct. 18, 33 counties saw a decrease in COVID-19 positivity, 26 saw a rise in COVID-19 positivity, two counties saw no movement from last week, and three counties administered fewer than 10 tests in the past week.

According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the incidence rates have dropped slightly over the last seven days.
