DENVER (KDVR) — After seeing the first decline in six weeks for COVID-19 positivity rates in Colorado last week, numbers are back up this week.

As of Monday, the state’s 7-day positivity rate was 6.06%, which is up from 5.72%. The highest positivity rate in the state over the past seven days is Saguache County with 22.2% positivity.

From Sept. 6-13, 38 counties saw a rise in COVID-19 positivity, 22 saw a decline in COVID-19 positivity, two counties had no movement and two counties administered fewer than 10 tests in the past week.

According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the incidence rates have also risen over the last seven days.
