DENVER (KDVR) — For the first time in six weeks, over half of Colorado counties are reporting a lower positivity rate over the last seven days.
As of Monday, the state’s 7-day positivity rate was 5.72%, which is down from 6.69%. The highest positivity rate in the state over the past seven days is Jackson County with 23.1% positivity.
From Aug. 31 to Sept. 6, 23 counties saw a rise in COVID-19 positivity, 38 saw a decline in COVID-19 positivity, one county had no movement and two counties administered less than ten tests in the past week.
According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the incidence rates have risen over the last seven days.
