DENVER (KDVR) — After a decline in COVID-19 positivity last week, 40 counties saw a rise in COVID-19 positivity over the last seven days.
As of Monday, the state’s 7-day positivity rate is 6.84%, which is up from 5.94%. The highest positivity rate in the state over the past seven days is Custer County with 21.7% positivity.
From Sept. 27 to Oct. 4, 40 counties saw an increase in COVID-19 positivity, 21 saw a decline in COVID-19 positivity, one county had no movement and two counties administered fewer than 10 tests in the past week.
According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the incidence rates over the last seven days remained similar to last week.
