LOUISVILLE, Colo. — At noon North Metro fire responded to two different brush fires. One on Via Varra, and one in the open space west of Outlook Trail and 136th. Then, a third fire was reported by the Boulder County Sheriff.

Very strong wind added to the threat for the area; Erie Municipal Airport reported wind near 30mph leading up to the initial fire report at 11:58am.

All fires were within about 5-miles of each other – each had been extinguished within an hour. Thankfully, no building damage or injuries had been reported.

Pinpoint Weather says that warm, dry, and windy conditions will continue Friday afternoon and Saturday.
