BOULDER, Colo.  — Police arrested Ronald Alejandro Oropesa, 22, on Tuesday after he allegedly scammed a Boulder woman who bought tickets to a Disney theme park off Craigslist.

Boulder authorities reported that Oropesa posed as a female in a Craigslist ad selling tickets to Disney for $175.00 each.

The victim met the suspect in Boulder and paid over $1,000 cash for six tickets.

She called Disney shortly after the transaction and she was told that the tickets were expired and had already been used.

Officials in Boulder warn the public of similar Craigslist scams.
