AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department has identified a suspect in Saturday’s shooting and applied for an arrest warrant. Two people were shot at a protest for Elijah McClain while the crowd was on Interstate 225.

Police have not named the man seen in those pictures, but Deputy Chief Harry Glidden told FOX31’s Nicole Fierro that charges will be forthcoming.

“I have not talked to the detectives I don’t know what charges they looked at but you can’t just pull a gun out and just start shooting randomly and recklessly not at a car that’s not physically close to you and at the time he did that you can see you can see there was nobody within feet of that car it’s scattered,” he said.
