GREELEY, Colo. — Ashley Fallis’ family expressed shock and outrage Friday after a jury found her husband, Tom Fallis, not guilty of killing her.
The 28-year-old mother of three died at their home in Evans in on New Year’s Day 2012.
The case initially was ruled a suicide but was reopened and Tom Fallis was charged with murder.
Ashley’s family said one day after the jury’s verdict that they cannot believe the jury heard the evidence and decided not guilty.

“Right now, we’re reeling in shock of what took place in the courtroom. I don’t know what’s next,” said Ashley’s father, Joel Raguindin.
Tom Fallis left the courtroom a free man. He has claimed from the beginning that Ashley killed herself.
