DENVER — She might not have electricity to watch “American Idol” at home, but a teen from Crawford got the judges’ attention at the Denver auditions.

Jeneve Rose Mitchell, 15, got a golden ticket on the premiere of the show’s farewell season Wednesday night. That means she goes straight to the Hollywood round.

Mitchell lives without power or running water in Crawford — six miles from her nearest neighbor, according to Fox.

Dressed in full cowgirl gear, with her cello, she performed The Band Perry hit “Chainsaw” for the judges.

The 15th and final season of “American Idol” airs on FOX31 Denver on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
