Facebook founder’s bride gets wedding dress in Denver

Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg.

DENVER — Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg just married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan in a surprise ceremony a few days ago. The bride was wearing a wedding dress she bought in Denver.

The single picture that shows Chan standing next to Zuckerberg started a nationwide buzz about where she found the wedding gown.

She chose her dress from the Little White Dress Bridal Shop at 3420 W. 32nd Ave. in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver in October.

She returned in April for alterations.

“We pulled the file and figured out sure enough, it was her. She was here,” says store owner Kate Malone.

Priscilla used her first name, but a different last name. She also bought her hair comb at the shop.

“She just happened to be in Denver and loved Claire Pettibone and knew that we carried her and wanted to look at her gowns,” Malone says. “That`s all she said.”

Claire Pettibone is an exclusive designer of wedding coutre.

The Zuckerbergs have billions. Chan’s dress cost about $4,700. “It`s a beautiful cut out lace overlay over a silk charmeuse lining,” Malone says. “The back of the gown is really spectacular. It`s cut low and again the lace cut out so the skin of the brides back shows through the gown.”

The photo of the couple doesn’t really do the dress justice.

The gown was ultimately shipped to an address in California.
