DENVER — One person was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon near Coors Field, the Denver Police Department said.
The accident happened at Chestnut Place and 20th Street. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, police said.
Chestnut was closed at 18th Street during the cleanup and investigation.
The names of the driver and the victim have not been released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
